Portfolio - 10 Images

This picture was for my 3:49 PM theme. I like it because it shows a different aspect of our school at 3:49. I like all the colors and layers in this photograph.
This image was for my second theme, my dad's softball game. I think this is an interesting perspective and I like the line that the bats create.
This photograph was for the first shoot we did, which was like a scavenger hunt. I like the detail of the coin and how the fingers are placed because they create a triangle shape around the coin.
This photo was also for the 3:49 theme. I was in the IS lab with this student, and he was rolling a water bottle around. I like how the focus is on the student, but the water is still in view, but has some blur.
This photograph was for the strobes light assignment. I really like the detail of the handle and the reflection of the handle on to the table.
This image was for the impressionistic assignment. Each subject of this photo has its own space and the red tail lights draw the eyes to that car. I think this photo also is composed with the rule of thirds.
This was the 3200 Film assignment. I like this image because it captures her personality well, and the composition is also good.
This was for the spring break/choice roll. I was at a California winery, and there was a keg used as a table with this rope on it, and I thought it was really interesting. I used the rule of thirds guideline, and I like how the detail of the rope and the wood are shown very clearly.
This photo was also the spring break/choice roll. This was a tower in San Francisco. I thought that the architecture of the clock tower was very appealing, and I also liked the street lamps.
This photograph was the digital negative assignment. This is my grandpa's dog, Squatch, and I really like photographing him because he seems to pose for pictures. I like how Squatch is looking up into the camera and smiling. I think the detail of his face is shown well, and the image is composed well.
